Last summer vacation, I had a wonderful time with my family. We went to the beach for a week and it was so much fun!

On the first day, we arrived at the beach early in the morning. The weather was perfect for swimming and playing in the sand. I built a sandcastle with my sister and we collected seashells. In the afternoon, we had a picnic on the beach and enjoyed some delicious sandwiches and fruits. The waves were gentle, so I went for a swim with my dad. It was so refreshing!

The next day, we went for a boat ride. We sailed on the crystal clear water and saw some beautiful fish swimming underneath the boat. I was amazed by the colorful coral reefs. We also went snorkeling and saw even more fish and sea creatures. It was like exploring a whole new world underwater!

During the rest of the week, we went for long walks along the shore, played beach volleyball, and had bonfires at night. We roasted marshmallows and made yummy s'mores. We also flew a kite and it was so much fun to see it soaring high in the sky.

On the last day of our vacation, we watched the sunset together. The sky turned into shades of pink, orange, and purple. It was the most beautiful sunset I had ever seen. I felt so lucky to be able to spend such a wonderful time with my family.

My summer vacation at the beach was truly unforgettable. I had so much fun and made many happy memories. I can't wait for the next summer vacation to come!

Last summer vacation, I discovered a new hobby that I really enjoyed – gardening. It was so much fun to plant and take care of my own little garden!

First, I helped my mom choose some flowers and vegetables to plant. We went to the garden center and I was amazed by all the different plants there. I picked some colorful flowers like roses and daisies, as well as some vegetables like tomatoes and carrots.

Next, I prepared the soil for planting. I dug small holes and carefully placed the plants inside. I made sure to give them enough water and sunlight every day. I also learned about fertilizers and how they can help the plants grow better.

As the days went by, I saw my little garden start to grow. The flowers bloomed and filled the air with a sweet fragrance. The tomato plants grew tall and had many green tomatoes. I was so proud of my gardening skills!

I also learned about the importance of taking care of the garden. I had to remove any weeds that grew around the plants and protect them from pests. It was a lot of work, but it was worth it to see my garden thrive.

One of my favorite things about gardening was being able to harvest the vegetables. I picked the ripe tomatoes and carrots and brought them to my mom. She cooked a delicious salad with them and it tasted even better knowing that I had grown the vegetables myself.

Gardening became my favorite summer hobby. It taught me patience, responsibility, and the joy of seeing something grow. I can't wait to continue gardening next summer and see what new plants I can grow!
