英文儿歌Ten little Indians歌词 篇一

Ten little Indians is a popular nursery rhyme that has been enjoyed by children for many generations. The song tells the story of ten little Indians who gradually disappear one by one. Each verse of the song focuses on a different Indian and how they meet their unfortunate fate. Despite the dark theme, the song is often sung in a playful and lighthearted manner.

The lyrics of Ten little Indians go as follows:

One little, two little, three little Indians

Four little, five little, six little Indians

Seven little, eight little, nine little Indians

Ten little Indian boys.

The song begins by introducing the ten little Indians. The counting pattern is used to create a rhythmic and catchy tune that is easy for children to sing along to. As the song progresses, the numbers decrease, and the fate of each Indian is revealed.

The first verse tells the story of the first Indian who is "one little." Unfortunately, this Indian "played with matches," resulting in a tragic outcome. The second verse follows a similar pattern, with the second Indian "two little" who "ate a rotten plum" and suffered the consequences.

As the song continues, the fate of each Indian becomes more imaginative and sometimes humorous. The third Indian "three little" "got stung by a bee" and the fourth Indian "four little" "ran into a door." Children often enjoy the silliness of these verses and the unexpected outcomes.

The fifth verse introduces the fifth Indian who "five little" "fell into a hive." This verse adds a sense of suspense and anticipation as children wonder what will happen to the remaining Indians. The following verses continue the pattern, with the sixth Indian "six little" "took a little dive" and the seventh Indian "seven little" "fell from heaven."

The eighth Indian "eight little" "got hit by a gate" and the ninth Indian "nine little" "didn't feel so fine." Finally, the last verse reveals the fate of the last Indian, with the lyrics changing to "No little, no little, no little Indians." This signifies that all the Indians have disappeared, leaving none behind.

Despite the dark theme of the song, children often enjoy singing along to Ten little Indians. The catchy tune and repetitive structure make it easy for them to remember the lyrics and join in the fun. The song also provides an opportunity for children to practice counting and learn about cause and effect.

In conclusion, Ten little Indians is a classic nursery rhyme that has entertained children for many years. The song's counting pattern and imaginative verses make it a popular choice for young children. While the fate of each Indian may be unfortunate, the lighthearted and playful nature of the song allows children to enjoy the experience without feeling scared or sad.
